History, Mission Statement & Affiliations
History
CAP began in 1975 and is still going strong today. CAP has a network of over 200 members and through its affiliations with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) and The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) has over 13,000 members. CAP enjoys the support of, and works closely with, many area law firms, corporations, banks, educational institutions, local bar associations and the public sector.
Mission Statement
CAP has been, and continues to be, instrumental in allowing paralegals to keep abreast with rapid growth and technological changes in various legal sectors while advancing a continuing education and the individual role of the paralegal in executing legal services.
National Affiliation
Every member of CAP is also automatically a member of the National Federation of Paralegals Association (NFPA), the largest national organization representing paralegals in the country. NFPA provides member associations with information concerning issues affecting paralegals, while at the same time presenting a unified voice for the profession on the national level.
